Call for Papers:  

The International Communication Association held its annual conference this year in San Francisco from May 24-28, 2007

The theme of the conference was "Creating Communication: Content, Control, Critique."  Throughout the five-day conference, an estimated 2,400 scholars from around the world attended over 425 presentations representing the latest advances in the field of communication.  The Health Communication Division had 28 panels and an interactive poster session covering a variety of issues within the field of health communication.

Division Mission: The Health Communication Division is committed to excellence in research on the development of theory as well as the application of theory to communication in health promotion and health care. Areas of research include provider-patient interaction, social support networks, health information systems, medical ethics, health policy and health campaigns.
