The Journal of
Health Communication is a scholarly, peer-reviewed journal, published
bimonthly. It presents the latest development in the field of health
communication including research in risk communication, health literacy,
social marketing, communication (from interpersonal to mass media),
psychology, government, policy-making, and health education around the
world.
The Journal of Health
Communication focuses on promoting the vital life of the individual and the
good health of the world's people with presentation of research, progress in
areas of technology and public health, ethics, politics/policy, and the
application of health communication principles to the better health of
individuals and communities.
The Journal of Health
Communication is designed to serve a growing community of scholars and
professionals. It publishes both quantitative and qualitative studies,
ethical essays, and book reviews, as well as a special section entitled "Up
Front," designed to give concise information to practitioners and academics.
